KYTHE Composes

KYTHE Composes focusses on original songwriting and creativity, rather than playing other artists’ materials. Supported by local musicians, the programme uses different songwriting techniques including a more ‘prescriptive’ approach, to enable everyone to write. Recent songs have been very varied, from social and political issues to nonsensical songs about fish slices and the Antarctic!

There’s also the opportunity to complete a Dynamic Youth Award alongside the project!


