Universal Drop Ins
The hub is open at various times during the week for young people to drop in, including some lunch times. These do not follow any formal agenda and allow the young people to interact and socialise with their friends in a way that is safe and welcoming to do so.
We have adapted the space to include a fully operational semi-professional kitchen, a full size American pool table, table football, air hockey table, Xbox console with projector screen and numerous board games the young people are free to use at the Hub as they wish.
Our normal weekly schedule looks like this, but it’s best to follow our social media feeds to stay up to date week to week.
During after-school drop in sessions on Fridays, we have a capable team of Young Chefs who prepare a range of tasty treats for the young people to devour after school.
We run this as a small social enterprise within KYTHE where the young people stock up and maintain the kitchen, affectionately known as “Jack’s Bar”.
Eating hot dogs has become a favourite pastime at KYTHE after school on Fridays!
