About KYTHE
KYTHE is a growing youth charity based in Kinross-shire, supporting around 400 young people each year through open-access youth work, targeted support and community outreach.
Young people describe KYTHE as a “second home” — a safe, welcoming space where they are valued, supported and encouraged to thrive.
The Role
Due to retirement, we are seeking a Part-Time Finance Administrator to take responsibility for the accurate day-to-day financial management of the charity.
You will ensure all transactions are correctly recorded, reconciled and compliant with charity accounting standards, and work closely with the Treasurer, Trustees, and Central Management Team.
This is a key role in a small organisation where your work will directly support our youth work delivery to young people.
Your role will include
- Processing and recording all financial transactions accurately
- Carrying out bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records
- Supporting financial reporting and the year-end processes
- Helping ensure compliance with charity accounting regulations
- Maintaining strong financial controls and confidentiality
About you
- Qualified and experienced in accounting or bookkeeping
- Confident using accounting software and Excel
- Highly accurate with strong attention to detail
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
- Discreet, reliable and a good communicator
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
Why join KYTHE?
You will be joining a small, committed team making a real difference in the lives of young people. Your work will directly support a charity that is deeply valued in the local community.
As one young person said: “KYTHE’s my second home.”
