Having had an incredibly busy summer, KYTHE has resumed usual weekly activities now that school has returned.
It was great fun over the summer, and overall, we were blessed with good weather, especially during the five days at Lendrick Muir, Crook of Devon, when 45 people were camping. After a damp start, the weather improved and suncream was required. This was one of the highlights of the summer and we are grateful to everyone who supported the young people and the team with preparing meals, driving and providing home baking. Thanks to local suppliers, Wintons butchers, Hunters butchers, Bayne’s bakers and Central Cafe, as we were keen to have locally sourced produce in our menu.
The team were part of Kinross-shire Parish Churches family week and other activities included spray-painting, litter picking, games, movie nights and laser-tag.
